In the Surroundings

Our nature campsite is located in the region known as “La Bresse”, about 6 km from Saint-Germain-du-Bois, in the Saône-et-Loire department. This is the southeastern part of Burgundy, bordering the Jura mountains.

This is a beautiful area for walking and cycling! Enjoy the peaceful, winding country roads that lead you through sunflower fields, forests, picturesque villages, and along small rivers.

Within just a 30-minute drive, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the Jura mountains, known for their stunning waterfalls and fascinating caves.
Go canoeing on the beautiful Doubs River, visit treetop adventure parks, museums, or play a round of golf on the official course just 4 km from the campsite — accessible to everyone for a day of fun!

Thanks to our central location, cities like Beaune, Dijon, Bourg-en-Bresse, and Lons-le-Saunier are all within easy reach and well worth a visit. Don’t miss the famous livestock and weekly market in Louhans, or browse local products in our on-site shop.

In the shop, you’ll also find a large wall map of the area, where we’ve marked the main attractions, museums, natural highlights, and castles using a colour-coded system. These colours correspond to the brochures and leaflets we’ve gathered for you in a folder. This way, you can see at a glance what’s nearby and how far it is. We’ve visited most of the spots ourselves, so feel free to ask us if you’d like personal tips.
